FARM-TO-TABLE RESTAURANT - DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI
For this project, I was tasked with designing a farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Cincinnati, repurposing a complex, historic underground brewing house. My primary objective was to celebrate the rich history of Cincinnati. My design intent reflects the narrative of Cincinnati’s Roman heritage. Drawing inspiration from the agricultural prominence of ancient Rome, I established a clear connection between Roman farming traditions and the modern farm-to-table movement. This concept informed both my material palette and spatial planning, resulting in a design that echoes the structure and simplicity of Roman agricultural layouts while honoring the site’s unique past.
WELL-BEING CENTER
For my college senior capstone, I developed a concept for a WELL-Being Center located on the outskirts of Columbus, Ohio. In response to the growing mental health crisis and the ongoing opioid epidemic in the United States, this project addresses the urgent need for spaces that promote healing, reflection, and holistic well-being. The WELL-Being Center is designed to serve as a sanctuary, offering individuals a peaceful, judgment-free environment to reconnect with their mind, body, and spirit. Key program elements include a fully equipped fitness facility, full-time spa services, dedicated meditation and yoga studios, and nutrition-focused classrooms and dining options.
CORPORATE OFFICE
For our first-semester project, we were tasked with designing a satellite office for a prominent design firm located in downtown Cincinnati. For this design, I chose to focus on a firm renowned for its commitment to community-centered and sustainable design—values that strongly align with my own passion for people and the environment. This companies large-scale projects maintain a sense of intimacy and responsiveness to each unique context, while also enhancing the brand identity of the clients they serve. This design exemplifies thoughtful, solutions-driven work that responds to the evolving needs of the world around us.
